Our Trips and Travels for 2014-2015

Our travel year continues to be defined by the academic calendar despite our retirement from the school system, Donna for almost ten years and I’m entering my third year. Germany September 14 - October 5, 2014 Our first trip was a visit to Germany to see Alan and Stefanie that also included excursions to France and Italy. We left Halifax on the evening of Sunday September 14 and arrived in Frankfurt Monday morning.

Cozumel November 24 - December 8, 2014

Oh Cozumel! It’s beautiful, the diving is spectacular and we’re so very comfortable there. It was a wonderful two weeks. Roatan February 9-24, 2015 This is our third trip to Roatan, an island located off the coast of Honduras and known for the diving and snorkeling. The last time we went to Roatan two years ago, we were very disappointed with the quality of the resort. This year we are staying at the Henry Morgan Resort on West Bay. Akumal in the Mayan Riviera - April 23 - May 7, 2015 Returning to our favourite place in Mexico, the small resort village of Akumal, is almost a given aspect of our travels every year. The snorkeling is wonderful, so it’s great for Donna. The diving is thoroughly enjoyable, particularly because I get to dive with Ivan and Natalie. This year was no exception. We had a wonderful time.
